Citit­rax is proud to pre­sent Scooter­boys from the Pool, the debut LP from An­oth­er Body Found, the latest pro­ject from A//, best known for his pioneer­ing work as Le Syn­dicat Électronique. Em­erg­ing from the de­pths of the French un­derground, ABF fuses dark electro, in­dustri­al, minim­al synth, and wave into a sound that is both stark and vis­cer­al. With a focus on raw en­er­gy and haunt­ing at­mospheres, the pro­ject strips electronic music down to its es­sence—­mechan­ical, hy­pnotic, and un­relen­ting­ly evocative.

Blend­ing com­mand­ing rhy­thms with melancholic un­der­tones, Scooter­boys from the Pool is a de­s­cent into shadowy tex­tures and dys­topian landscapes, where driv­ing basslines meet icy, mech­an­ical beats in a puls­ing haze of un­derground spirit.

At the heart of the album is the title track, Scooter­boys from the Pool—a haunt­ing re­work of Bronski Beat’s iconic Smalltown Boy. Re­imagined through ABF’s sig­na­ture lens, this vers­ion strips the origin­al to its ess­ence, re­plac­ing its shim­mer­ing syn­ths with some­th­ing col­d­er, heavi­er, and more ur­gent while pre­serv­ing the em­otion­al weight of its nar­rative. This track has been played at numer­ous DJ sets, and each time, it cuts through the room like a ghost from the past—ac­hing­ly familiar yet trans­for­med, stirr­ing some­th­ing de­ep­ly per­son­al with its raw in­tens­ity.

This re­lease is pre­ssed on 160-gram black-in-milky-clear vinyl, housed in a 350gsm sleeve, and strict­ly li­mited to 500 co­p­ies.
